Trainwreck Tuesdays started with a couple of buds just rinsin’ out all their favourite hip hop tunes - old and new - on an average boring Tuesday night at Che in Hess Village, back in 2017. It quickly became a monthly habit, and the series ran for a few years, with DJs Fazooli and IMNOTADJ [Ezekiel38], with rotating guests - including our favourite resident DJ Coltrane [Garcia Smith]. The trio would eventually form the trifecta affectionately known as “2 Alvins & A Theodore”. With the closing of Che and the pandemic, these nights are over for now - but not entirely forgotten.
